For Sale 95 4-runner 1KZT 5 speed 4wd $7,800

1995 4 runner, 4WD leather, power windows, sunroof,

was gas V-6 automatic.
recently installed Toyota 1KZT 3 litre turbo diesel and 5 speed

mechanical injector pump, no computer, 5 speed with solid mass flywheel

If you;ve been looking, you know how hard it is to find these engines.

clear GA title, title still says gas engine.

runs & drives, needs tires and finishing details, hooking up A/C etc.

there is ZERO rust, none.

interior is great, except for small tears in the drivers seat corner

plastic bezel around shifter is grey rest of interior is tan


front tires are slick slick,
back tires (BFG ATs) have lots of tread.

I also have front & rear diffs from diesel donor truck

currently has V-6 gas diffs.
had a couple of potential buyers wanted it for towing,
if youre not gonna tow, Id swap in the diesel diffs for better mpg


I did get the title changed to "diesel" and it is currently tagged and we;ve been driving it a couple days a week.

tach works most of the time.
speedo is 5 mph fast,
needs correct plastic gear.


A/C needs new compressor , recharge , and some mod to eliminate amplifier

supposed to have a great sound system, with aftermarket speakers and amps.
Ive never gotten it to work at all.

front tires are slick slick,
clear coat on hood and RF fender is faded.

couple of dings and scratches, but for a 19 yr old vehicle its in pretty good shape.
all power windows work, including sunroof and tailgate glass
