Hi again guys/gals. Heres my situation. I have a very nice cruiser and am considering selling simply for the purpose of upgrade. Some of you may have seen it listed before. I'm looking to know what it's really worth and not what I Hope to get for it. I'm open to reasonable offers. In order to upgrade enough and have it make sense, I have to be get enough for this rig. I was asking $6500 with a fairly poor response. So either I'm way out of line or it's simply just a truck that folks don't want. Let me know your thoughts and I'd love for someone to come see it.
Its a white 94 . Grey cloth interior, Sunroof, 3rd seat. roof rack, tow hitch, Running boards, Has 150+k miles. Truck originally from out west but is now located in upsate NY. It is not driven in salt and is either garage kept or covered when outside. I just drove it to Fla. and back after Christmas (2200mi round trip) with zero issues. This list of maint. and repairs is long:
Tires - Yoko. Geolanders
New rear Brakes (oe Pads)
new radiator
new battery
New belts (oe)
recent tune-up
New A/C compressor, rec. drier and exp. valve
OE starter rebuilt
PHH done.
Upgraded CD player incl door speakers behind undamaged door panels
Front wheel bearings repacked
All fluids drained refilled
Front wheel alignment
washed weekly, waxed regularly.
Orig. paint, never wrecked or off roaded

The bad: Some rust spots on upper gate below glass, front bumper has small dent, drivers seat foam worn, NO Lockers.

Its not a beater and I'm not looking to give it away but would like to move to a 100 or a seqouia.

I'm not looking, but was curious...are you asking $6,500 obo or...? More pictures would defiantly be helpful as well. GLWS!

Yeah - I'm still at $6500 obo. What would the number have to be to sell it??? That I don't know unless I get some offer I guess. Thanks for looking though

94 pics - again - sorry

I'm doing something wrong when uploading pics, my apologies.

It's been, what, two days? Give it some time, the economy is in the tank. I think you may be a grand or two high though, but in upstate NY a good 4wd vehicle with minimal rust may still fetch a premium.

^ Agreed... Everything I've been selling has taken forever and unfortunately hasn't sold for what I wanted to get either.

Thanx for the feedback. Yeah a vehicle this old in NY with no rust (even the rear heater pipes are rust free) should hold value pretty well. 2 grand high? boy I hope not but reality is what it is. I guess I was expecting some feedback pretty quick but was definitley not expecting to sell it this week at all.

So.... I've spotted a Seqouia that I'd like to pursue and may be willing to deal to make the swap happen. :hhmm:

reality is.... esp in NE ....these trucks @ 12 mpg are not in demand- at all-
this time last year i bought a 1 owner perfect /garaged eat off of clean ,locked 93 - brand new tires , brakes etc 120,000 mi
cust asked 4,800 I gave him $3,600
asking prices for your truck around NY are 4-5500.

Nothing is selling in New York right now, I can't even give the two things I'm selling away and one of them is a Honda CRV that gets close to 30 mpg, so take that for what's it's worth, no money or jobs here, might want to try national coverage

Man, you're not kidding!! The local Craigslist is flooded with the same stuff over and over agaiin. I guess it may be time for Ebay. There are a couple really nice 80's listed there now. Wish me luck - worse case scenario......I keep it and start havin' some off-road fun.:hhmm:
