Well it looks like its time to let go of my 80...Here are the basic details:

1994 FZJ80 with TRD Supercharger
Just under 125K miles
Yes it has factory Diff Locks
Center Diff Lock switch also
OME lift; J's in front
Hanna sliders
100 series front pads
Tires are in very good condition

Overall the truck is in very good condtion and has been properly maintained. Recent maintenance includes:
New radiator and belts (no it did not over heat or blow the radiator...just preventative maint.)
Trans fluid transfuision (not just a drain and refill)
Brakes
PHH has been done with factory hose
Diff and engine oil
New windshield and gasket

I'm sure there are some things I missed but that's what questions are for. Anyway, I'm asking $13,500 and am located in South Orange County CA. If anyone is interested, give me a call, PM or anything else that might get my attention. Thanks!

Very nice rig. I think it's black, but unsure if it's the dark green? Can you confirm which it is?

You have a PM!

He actually has two...

Hi,
Thanks for the PM's. I just picked them up and replyed back.

You're right, it does look black in the picture, but it is the dark green. I don't think I mentioned it in my original post but I am the second owner. I bought it quite a few years ago when it had just under 53K miles. The work that has been done on it was performed either by myself or my best friend who is a Toyota Master Tech. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks much.

When was the supercharger added?

Typically how long do engines with superchargers last? I am in the market for a used LC but want to get something thats gonna last me a while.

thanks

RELIABILITY GUARANTEED
When you’re bolting something to your engine, you need to know its
pedigree. So here is ours: TRD Superchargers are engineered with the
same attention to detail and reliability as your Toyota or Scion. They have
been tested on their respective engines to the equivalent of over 100,000
miles and have shown no added wear or engine component failures.
And when installed by a Toyota dealer, TRD Superchargers carry a 12-month
warranty, regardless of mileage, or the balance of the new car 5 year, 60,000
mile powertrain warranty, whichever is greater. Only TRD Superchargers offer
this unique combination of performance, reliability and warranty protection.

Ting,
Thanks for putting up the TRD guarantee. This is what I remember from when I researched and then purchased my SC for the 80.

I believe I installed the SC three years ago at about 85K miles. I have continued to care for the enigne and drivetrain properly including changing the radiator last month for preventative maintanence. I did this because I wanted to avoid any possibility of overheating.

Based on the performance, maintanence and test results during smog check, the engine (and drivetrain) health is excellent and should provide reliable service for a long time.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.

You can feel the power gain in when going into freeway, local driving, and up hill. :) It's a great mod.

Very true about the power gains and feel.

I will take some interior pictures to post. I forgot to describe it oops...the interior is the grey leather with power adjustment that is commonly found. It has all three rows and is generally in good condition. I replaced the front and middle row floor mats about a year and a half ago.

As soon as I take some more pictures I will put them up. Thanks.

For those who were asking, I will try and get more pictures taken either today after work or tomorrow. Thanks for waiting.

"OME lift w/ J springs"

Just curious what size lift would this be? Is it a 3", 4" or 5.5"?

By using the J springs up front I gained about 3.5 inches or more front and back. The J springs help make the truck more level. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply back. You've got another pm.

i am interested in the s/c if you get a buyer who doesn't want it.

I think I'll leave the SC installed...thanks though.

Although, I do have some more pictures for those that are interested. I think I sent them out to everyone who already requested them. Let me know. Thanks much.
