Those are the same specs are OEM FZJ-80 wheels. They should fit. The only reason why it wouldn't is because of caliper/rotor clearance. Have the seller measure the hubring size as well.

I wouldn't count on those being the "same specs" as the OEM wheels. He says "4.5 inches of backspacing", which on an 8" wide rim means they've got a half inch of offset. Then he says "0mm offset". So, I'd ask for clarification on that issue. Offset and matching it to factory is more important to know than backspacing by far.

Doug, 4.5" of backspacing on an 8" rim has a zero offset. Rims have a 1/2" lip on each side. When measuring backspacing, this lip is included.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the feedback. I guess I'll buy them new

Hoser,

If there's 4.5 inches of an 8 inch wide rim on one side of the mounting face, then that leaves 3.5 inches on the other side of the face to total 8 inches. That's not zero offset wherein the mounting face is in the center of the rim edges. What am I missing?

Sorry, I was unclear. This picture should help.

Looking at the top, left of the picture, where it says "Inboard Bead Seat"-- that is where you measure the width which is 8" on stock wheel. Now look at the bottom, left where it says, "Rear Spacing"--that is where you measure Backspacing.

The flange (lip) measures 1/2 inch. So, actually, if you measured from the inboard flange to the outboard flange, it would be 9 inches. Half of 9" is 4.5"--zero offset.

Here's a handy dandy chart for future reference.

Hoser,

Thanks - great info and very clear. I thought I'd figured that whole backspace/offset thing out years ago but have always worked with "offset". Never realized that converting/comparing it to backspacing involved the rim lip.

Great info indeed, I aways wondered but didn't have the internet time to figure this out myself.

Thanks again Hoser. :bounce:
