I have a 93 80s series that I bought about 2 years ago. The truck has run good for the most part. The problem I have is so intermittent that is has been nearly impossible for me to resolve for over a year. The Cruiser will randomly bog down to 1-2 rpm, almost as if it’s not getting fuel. No codes thrown, It will sit in that state anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. And then, as if nothing happened, power will come back and I’ll drive home fine. Some days it does it constantly, or I will literally go weeks without having a problem. I have done a few things to try and fix the problem. Replaced the TPS, Bypassed the EGR, replaced both fuel filters and even the fuel pump. I even pumped out all the fuel and scooped out almost all of the rust in the tank. Since there is no code I really have been clueless. I have replaced the fuel pump so I do not think it is that. It is so intermittent that I don't think it is a clogged cat converter. My main suspicion is that the wiring harness is damaged, specifically where it plugs into the MAF.

I've searched many threads and found nothing that has helped me fix mine. I am posting this to see if anyone has had a similar issue and what they did yo fix it.

What motor is in your 93, it might be the harness near the EGR.

I had a bad fuel pump in my 92. IT was not making pressure but it was running. I had stumbling at hihgway speeds and when cold. If I pushed it and let it stall, restarting was impossible. I had to let it sit for a long time then it seemed fine.
