Map and done lights not working at all or at best properly. I have one swapped over to LED and that is the only one that sort of works just super dim. The two dimes lights are only getting around 6v and the map light doesn’t seem to be getting any voltage. They worked fine until a few weeks ago. The some with the led stops working at all if I flip the switch for the map light. The fuse in the engine bay is fine and I have swapped it as well. Not sure where I could be getting the voltage loss.

The grounds seem to check out I feel like the voltage being at 6v is the issue. It’s not enough to light the incandescent and barely light the LED but I have no clue how it could happen or where to look.

If all your grounds checked out okay, and there is no visible corrosion on the dome light connections causing a voltage drop, then you'll need to do some more trouble shooting. So Get your factory electrical trouble shooting manual out, look and see what roof pillar the wiring harness that feeds those dome lights runs up. Then using your meter, probe each connection in that harness working backwards from the dome light towards your battery, until you get a solid 12 volt reading.

Once you get a 12 volt reading, you'll know that your problem lies somewhere between that connection, and the last spot you tested. If your problem is in the wiring harness up under your head liner, and your truck is a 95 to 97 you have a one piece head liner, which is fairly easy to drop. If you own an earlier year truck, those head liner are much more of a pain to deal with, to gain access to the dome light wiring harness.
