** TENT IS NOT INCLUDED IN SALE PRICE****

Selling my 93 Land Cruiser. I don't drive it anymore, looking to sell and downgrade to a ford ranger and a dirt bike. Truck has been great to me and has taken our family to the top of Imogene Pass and many other places in Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Its never let me down or left me stranded. Head Gasket appears in great shape.

Willing to deliver for the cost of a flight home + Gas Reimbursement.

Recent work and goodies (last 1.5 years):
- All U Joints (less than 1000 miles ago)
- Full Tune Up (1.5 years ago)
- Valve Cover Reseal (1.5 years ago)
- Both Diffs Serviced (less than 1000 miles ago)
- Factory Toyota Accessory belts (Less than 500 miles ago)
- New Rad Cap
- New interior upholstery (front 4 seats only) rears in good OG condition
- Newish Windshield (one small knick)
- Decent Tires
- Trunk Box
- De-flared/Rino Lined
- New Cat's
- Pesky Heater hose appears to be in good shape. (So my mechanic tells me)
- Spare and Hitch included but not currently on Truck.

Needs:
-02 Sensor ReWired
-AC condensor (blew ICE cold before i accidentally punctured it leaning on horn bracket)
-is a little leaky (Hardly ever low on oil. Maybe every 5 months it needs half a quart. Toyota Mechanic in Valley said not to worry, for what its worth.)

Odometer broke around 180k before i purchased it. Previous owner claimed it sat and was his father in laws before i got it. Don't know the real truth but I would estimate it around 230-250k based upon the average of other same year cruisers.

bump...some input on pricing from the gang here would be appreciated. $5k seems fair... anyone?

I've seen this on the PHX CL for a few weeks. No offense, but to be Frank, the unknown mileage is a slight downer. If I were seriously looking to buy right now, I would consider test driving it at 4k not at 5k. But, if you have receipts for the PM work done that is some leverage. Hope that helps.

I figured this might be a hang up. Trying to figure out of theres a process through the dealer or similar to try and get mileage. Unfortunately the owner before me told me the mileage was accurate, and a few hours into the first drive I noticed the ODO was broken. Trying to be honest about it instead of telling the next person the same s***ty lie i was told.

At the same time though the majority of wear items have been replaced so I dont understand why its a $1000 breaking point. Appreciate the input though!

Unknown mileage is big deal. Best to do some recon and check carfax, past receipts, or anything else you can find to establish a known mileage at a specific date. You need proof of some kind, not just verbal guesses. Then establish a price.

A non-locked, leaky, unknown mileage truck without working AC, on these boards is probably a $3300-$3500 truck. My 2 cents only. I am not trying to sound crass of be offensive on price, but you asked for opinions and there's mine ;)

Appreciate the input. Unfortunately I guess I disagree considering its a running driving truck, even mechanics specials on Craiglist are priced higher than $3000. With all Major Maintenance up to date, the un known of mileage doesn't seem like a huge deal. But I am going to work on documentation to help ease minds i guess. Thanks again for the input.

UPDATE: MILEAGE ROUGHLY 295K VERIFIED THROUGH CARFAX REPORT.

Thanks for the Input on finding this info guys. Also thanks to anyone who has recommended Eric Murphy at Camelback Toyota. Most helpful human ever!

Can you elaborate at all on what the Carfax says and how you know now it’s 295k? Is the ODO still not working? Thanks

I have a carfax that shows last service with actual mileage about a month before I purchased the truck. I have had the truck for about a year and a half to 2 years since. Its always just been a camping rig with a drive from Denver to Phoenix when I moved and Phoenix to Telluride last summer for a camping trip. 288,xxx is what the carfax shows. Im only estimating based on where and how much Ive driven the truck. If you want to PM me or leave your email here I would be happy to forward the Carfax if interested and connect via phone with any additional questions. ODO is still not working. I understand my word is as good as it gets but I trusted someone else who F'd me over and I'm not in the business of doing that, especially not within the four wheeling community. I will happily provide as much info to anyone interested as I can.

Thanks for the interest.
