I have researched to my best. My rear locker (factory) will not engage and blinks at the dash panel. The front seems ok. Any help. 93 80. New baby in arms or would rattle on.

You check to make sure all cables/connectors are properly mated?

How long did you try to engage the rear. They sometimes take a while if they haven't been used in years.

Have someone listen closely to the locker when you engage and disengage the switch, do they hear the little DC acuator motor?

Are you sure that yours is not engaging? Mine works properly, but the light on my dash still blinks. The rear obviously locks (I can hear it engage and disengage, and several test have shown that it is locking), but I have never been able to get the light to stop blinking on the dash, while the switch is turned. I don't know how easy my fix is...I'm not too concerned with it, as long as the locker continues to engage.

Do a search. There have been a ton of post on this topic.
It is important to understand how this locker engages. It is a simple mechanical process but requires the PS axle and the differential to be rotating at different RPMs. You can accomplish this by slowly driving is wide arch.

This action will allow the dog collar gear on the axle to mate with the gear on the diff. If they move at the same RPM they will never mate.
