92 fj80 a/c button flashing when turn on (1 Viewer)

Just the other day my ac botton was flashing when the ac was turn on, the ac
still works. Now the button doesn't light up bur ac still works. What is going on?

An electrical short, bad ground, or bad bulb (I'd bet on bulb).

FWIW the bulb on mine has never worked. AC works just fine.
