Ah...memories...I just got ripped off a little while back. 5 grand. Sent funds, got fake title ( really good too almost went through my DMV) and then my shipper went to an address where there was no house ( or truck for that matter ). I have the photos of the truck, so I am always looking for it so I can hopefully warn others. Its crap like this that makes it bad for legit buyers/sellers from dealing state to state. Scumbags..Expensive lesson I got, but better off next time.. ps he went by the name of Dr. Ralph Simmons.

this guy is a big time douche! i just found this thread and messed with this guy for my own personal amusement about a month ago. he was supposedly selling a a BJ40/42 last month for like $4200 or something close to that. i knew it was too good to be true so i played along with him all the way until the end and then everything just stopped, he disappeared. add gone, no more emails, just gone. then he started over with a different vehicle, this 80. i'd like to know if this guy really makes enough money doing this to live?

That's exactly how I feel, 34.000 is a big number and I wouldn't feel comfortable sending it to a person that I don't know.

Google Checkout is safe , you can do some research, call the BBB office or an attorney. GC has a hot line and they will assist you trough the whole process.
I can provide proof of ownership (title, driver's license) ahead of time if you agree with Google Checkout's therms and conditions . I don't see the point of inspecting it here since you are give 5 days for inspection at your house before I even receive the money.
