This shouldn't be happening something is drawing to much current or a shortIt’s the EFI port. The yellow part is a snap in piece that melted. I’m trying to get more pictures from my son now.
It has fried 3 relays in the last month.

More than likely caused by poor contacts. The entire EFI circuit doesn't really draw that much current (roughly 6.25 amps protected with a 15 amp fuse), but poor contacts will cause arcing at the terminals or poor crimps will cause a high resistance. These are replaceable parts with pigtails that can be spliced in.This shouldn't be happening something is drawing to much current or a short
I thought about moving it , I haven’t seen that done anywhere though. If it made the problem go away, it would be worth it.I would rig up some new thicker gauge wires and relocate the EFI relay inside the firewall and wrap up the new harness with heat wrap and be done with
