Nice trucks, but I notice that it might not be registered in the US. 25 years is the "normal" norm for imports-wonder if this one is legally here? If not no amount of $ will get it registered.

I would have to guess this truck was brought into the US via a registered importer. That along with the "restoration work" would suggest the asking price.

I think there may have been an option for cable actuated lockers on the HZJ like the HJ, but probably not. From an quick internet search (wow, all this by just typing "HZJ Specifications"!) Vehicle specification

Limited Slip Differential (usually rear only, from what I've read-- diff housing will read "LSD OIL ONLY")
Manual Free Wheeling Hubs
Fully Floating Front and Rear Axles
Rear Disc Brakes
