Also, my 72 FJ40:

2F engine, with newer 76 head and modified factory carb (runs GREAT) with a FJ60 dizzy and all smog junk removed.
Completely rewired with EZ wire kit.
H41 4 speed out of a Aussie rig, reversed shift pattern, has a deeper first gear than the US spec. Mated up to a 3 speed t-case with a new clutch. Factory e-brake works as well (kind of rare..)

Front axle is FJ40, balls cut and turned for proper steering geometry for SOA, has Marlin 6 bolt steering arms, FJ80 TRE's, DOM links (all Marlin steering), 6 shooter knuckles, 4.56 gears, ARB, Bobby long 30 spline axles/hub gears and wheel spacers.

Saginaw power steering, plated frame, 40 springs flipped to push the front axle forward 5".

Rear axle is out of FJ60, 4.56 gears/ARB, SOA setup, traction bar, 55 series springs to push the rear axle back 4.5-5".

Bilstein 5125 shocks at both ends (14" front/10" rear).

Built heavy wall drivelines with CV's, about $700 for both.

Total wheelbase is 100".

6 point cage built by a Cruiser shop down in Stockton (where the rig came from originally, no rust), new Corbua suspension seats, Crow 5 point cam loc harnesses, roll in bedliner, rear TJ fold and tumble seat with basic lap belts. Bikini top, full soft top and full soft/half doors that are new, the top is used but in good shape.

New 8274 winch with amsteel rope which is used but in good shape. 2x4 front bumper with recovery points. Has a new ARB mini compressor/harnesses/switches/line. CB, rear LED tail lights/turn signals, front bib is from an early cruiser with the turn sigs in the bib, kind of rare to find in great shape.

I rattle canned it desert tan.

No trades hold clean/clear title in hand. Have some other parts that go with the rig. It is wired and setup for rock lights. They are included, just need to be bolted on. Spare rear shafts included. Rock rails started, need to be finished up and bolted on.

I'm sure I'm missing a few things here or there. Please, serious buyers only. I don't want to sell either of my cruisers but times force it...I have a lot of cash/labor/love into both. I cannot do trades, would love to get a 60 or something but is just not in the cards right now. Please, PM me or email with questions:

aefawkit@gmail.com.

I don't check the email but every few days so please give me some time to respond.

Adding trade options!! See last post of this thread.

Yes, Jefferson Oregon is the location of both rigs.

Those are two beautiful rigs, that's painful to see. Bump for a couple of real deals.

Thanks Nay. It is sad but I'm sure I'll find great homes for these Cruisers.

Where are the rust spots for the 80. Beautiful - if I did not just buy an 80 in need of a lot of work - that would be mine. I may throw mine on cars.com for a slight loss and see what happens. How far are you from Portland?

Not a lick of rust!

I'm about 40 minutes from Portland. When I sold my Runner, I picked the guy up in Portland at the airport, he drove it home to southern Ca....:grinpimp: (shameless plug).

I have no question about the shape of your rig. I wish I was more patient in my search.

Again...as I read over the ad....

I miss a ton of things.

It has a $700 dollar alarm/remote start system with pager remote (not a huge deal to some, but a good piece of mind) red top optima battery, factory service manual, factory drive flanges and parts left over from the part time conversion, 1" spacers on both axles....I'm sure I will think of more. Just like the 40...it has a ton more things as well......

Pics coming tomorrow since I have the day off. Sorry for not posting more for those who have asked.

It is our second 80 and this was a MUCH better rig than the first...

This rig is not perfect, is has some dents/dings but is VERY solid. You would not think it has the miles on the chassis that is has, virtually no rattles/squeaks for the age of the rig. I'm shocked at the quality of Landcruisers each time I drive it. :cool:We WILL own another when finances turn around.

Ok guys...had a lot of PM's and emails asking for pics. I took a ton today, but it would take me forever to send them to everyone so what I'm going to do is post a few in this thread. If you have an angle or something specific you want to see, I most likely have it and can post it up. If you want a single in high res...I can email that. My upload speeds are not super fast and I don't have hours to send them out...so just ask and I'll do what I can.

Up to the top.

I did.

Guys, for those that have emailed me with phone numbers..I will call you in the next few days. Sorry for being slow on this, I'm pretty busy but I'm not flaking you off, please bear with!

Hi All:

Sorry to see that you have to sell these two rigs - they both look/sound like great Land Cruisers!

Good luck!

Alan

I'm heaps interested in your 91 FJ80. I am looking for a reliable land cruiser to use in Canada for the summer while converting to an 'expedition rig' and then exporting it to Haiti in the fall, which is where I work most of the year. If nobody else has purchased it yet, I'd like to discuss over phone. I'll send you my phone number by email.

(and I'm drooling over your FJ40... and trying not to covet it.)
