I've done one r134 conversion in the past. At the time I had a new compressor and lines so I bought a new dryer and then did the conversion.

The Nippondenso AC compressor in my 91 says no oil. So does this mean I drain the remaining R12, flush, put a new dryer in and then add R134 but no oil?

My factory service manual doesn't cover a conversion.

Any thoughts, ideas, real experience????

I doubt it. We don't have a local Toyota dealer and the one we have doesn't even know that Land Cruiser is made by Toyota. Maybe I'll give Cruiser Dan a call?

Eric, Call Mountain View Auto on Ustick in Boise. They are pretty knowledgeable. No guarantee they will help you over the phone as they are very busy. I see cruisers there all the time.

Go to http://www.autoacforum.com/ and ask for "TRB" or "Chick". Either of them will be able to help you. Its great site for A/C concerns.
