I'm looking at a 2000 LX470 with 108000 miles on it and wondering do they have the same 90000 mile service? Also what size rims and tires came on the LX470s? This one has like 18 or 20 inch rims on it. Thanks

the same fundamental service regime as the LC100 if that's what you mean, yes.

And I think in 2000 LX 470 had 16" rims here... not sure in the US, but 16 or 17.

Again the same stud pattern of LC100's with IFS so they have come with 16, 17 and 18" rims in different models at different times.

you can also review any dealer service records (not warranty) by registering on the toyota owner portal/website...When I bought my 100 I was happy to see that the Toyota website had great details on the service history and timing belt change, fluids all changed, basically done by the book.

The 2000 model came with split spoke 16" rims with the 5 on 150 bolt pattern. If it has 18" rims they could still be LX or LC rims, just updated. They could also be Tundra wheels, but we can't tell just by your description. If they fit and don't have adapters on the wheels, chances are they're OEM of some sort. Tire size was 275/70r16 out of the factory. Yes, they have the same 90k service IIRC. If the rims are not some sort of 5 spoke (whether split or not) then they're aftermarket (save Tundra steelies).

Im not sure i like that toyota owner portal/website. I registered and pulled up the vin for my 96 LC and it only had 1 record. The front oxygen sensor was replaced. I was hoping to pull up all these things like the PO had taken it in for regular checkups.

I was hoping the rims wouldn't look like that.... No, those aren't even close to OEM anything. Depending on what kind of mechanical condition it's in I would offer them probably 12k because of those ugly rims and tires. Plus, that's not a half bad price for 108k on a 2000. Definitely ditch the rims though, those are at least 20s

They are indeed ugly - and they are 22" rims mounted with Continental Cross Contact tires in size 305/40ZR22:

Those wheels/tires have got to go :whoops:

Right I was going to take the rims off first thing. My only thing with the rims I was thinking that who ever owned never took it offroad with those rims and tires.

You'd be an idiot to take it off road with those on

Get under and take a look - that will tell you if its been seriously wheeling.

And give the dealer the task on the wheels and tyres - its a PIA trying to find OEM wheels. You could say 16 or 17 (or 18 if you want rarer tyres) OEM wheels would do.

The LX wheels are similar to the LC wheels so if you're not too pedantic, you could say genuine LC wheels would be OK.
