I have a Toyota 8" e locker complete 3rd member for sale (includes actuator). I bought it to use in a GX470 but found an 8.2 rear end to use instead. Looks very clean. The guy I bought it from said it was from a 40k mile FJ cruiser. These are getting hard to find in 3.73 ratio. $500OBO. Located in Charleston, SC.

Is this a bolt on replacement for the regular 470 8" diff? Or does it require modification to the housing to fit?

In other words, would we follow the steps here for installation?

Same steps as needed on the 4Runner. Drill holes and tap required.
