Pull front 3rd member to find it has unrepairable rust damage. Looking for a decent front 10 spline 3rd member. Hopefully one that's good enough to drop in.

They should be the same, if they’re like the later thirds at least. It’d be easier to pull the back out, but I can pull the front if necessary.

Ten spline side gears or ten spline pinion? 72 should have 30 spline side gears. Some time during the 68 model side gear changes from ten spline to thirty spline. If you have ten spline side gears possible you have a early ball and claw front axle.
