Anyone have any ideals. Thanks

via FAQ...

A number of FSM's from TTORA.com

I don't have an 89 downloaded, and my computers going...so don't take this the wrong way but, DL it, and look for it.

And BTW....

Welcome!

**Official** newb welcome?.....is?...:flipoff2:

:D

Unfortunately that circuit feeds a few things downstream, any one of them may cause the short. My truck may have wiring differences with your year but I had a similar issue from several wires rubbing together by the diagnostic connection. Here's the approximate location of my failure, and the main circuit to trace for shorts. This may be something completely different but I hope this helps.

Enjoy and welcome :flipoff2:.

x2 on the oxygen sensor. This happened to mine during a snow wheeling trip. the o2 sensor wire melted on the exhaust and was causing a short.
