Selling my FJ to get back into a VW Corrado. Owned for almost a year now with no problems. My uncle owned the car before, and under his ownership he did a full engine and tranny rebuild when the odo hit 200k. It now has 291k and runs like a champ. The only negative is that the rear struts to the rear hatch have crapped out and don't hold the hatch up. There is ZERO rust on the truck.

Price is $4500 obo, please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

Nice. Was your uncle the original owner? Any interior and under carriage shots? Thanks.

He was not, he got it from a guy out in Missouri. I will get those pics up asap, but I can't get it out of the garage right now because there's a few feet of snow blocking the garage door. I'll get those pics up as soon as I can.

Nice truck... I like the Shorthair too. We have 5 of them! Good luck with the sale!

Damn man. Clean truck.

Not sure if moving to a C is a good choice though. Hope you have $ to buy a mint condition one or to fix one lol.

See Sig ;) I'm a VW guy too. Sadly.

Nice

Do you have documentation of the rebuild of engine and trans? I'm not far from you. Intersted and got a little cash to part ways with. Let me know. I'm also interested to see interior and undercarrige pics.

Buyers beware

Hey Justin,

I'm glad you told me about this site, kid. Now I can let others know to be very cautious about dealing with you. What started out as a normal telephone conversation about your Land Cruiser and making an appointment with you to look at the vehicle turned into a wild goose chase (for me) and an undeserving waste of my time. Thanks for standing me up on Saturday after committing to meeting at a specified place and time and agreement that any change to this appointment would be handled by a simple (and courteous) phone call. An email less than an hour before the appointment was poor form given the aforementioned agreement we made on the phone. Then, not even having the courtesy to return my polite follow-up messages and email stating that I was still interested in your truck after this is not only poor manners, but is an indication that doing business with you would be unwise. I mention this as it seems that you have posted to your ad here twice since standing me up and since I tried to follow up with you. I don't know why you have decided to blown me off (a local buyer) but can only speculate that you have something to hide and no intentions of making an honest deal?? I don't care and won't even check back for any rebuttal you may make - first and last post as I have better things to do than try to impress strangers on the internet. I just hope this serves to save others who may be interested in buying your vehicle to know what they may be getting into if they deal with you.

Good luck,

Jerry
