Trying to get this bugger off...

I've tried the starter bump trick. I have an 800 ft/lb 1/2 impact with proper 19mm impact socket. I've also tried to wedge something through the balancer and use a breaker bar with a 3-ft cheater. I have tried to heat the bolt and get some PB blast in there. Nothing.

I'm afraid I will damage the bolt head (further) and/or strip the head soon. What else can I try? Help!

Thanks.

I've been reading a lot of suggestions on other forums. I may try to grind off the flange with a cut off wheel.

Got it! I had to grind off one side of the flange. I wish I had done this two days ago...

Usually just use breaker bar and proper socket. Position so the breaker bar is within a few inches of frame and hit the starter. Has never failed me. Make sure coil wire is pulled first!

This is all I've EVER had to do too. Wonder who put it on like that and why?
