For Sale 87 FJ62 for sale

* She is beautiful and wonderful. Less than 115k miles. Virtually no rust, in phenomenal condition for a truck based in the northeast as she has been always parked indoors. 4 speed stick.

Heat & AC works great. Runs wonderfully.

I will include some extra spare parts that I have since they can be tougher to source. The roof rack alone is a classic that is worth at least $1000.

Recently replaced engine (4.2L) gasoline (VIN F, 4th digit, 2F eng) including warranty (3Yr or 36K miles Parts & Labor) and radiator with less than 4000 miles on it, and just replaced transmission with used transmission (54k miles on it- including 1 year warranty (parts & labor)- subsequently with less than 2000 miles on it.


Minor underside ding on hood barely noticeable, rip on driver’s side seat are the only issues.


I have put alot into her with recent work, so asking 15k OBO.

So this is actually an FJ60 not an FJ62

FJ62 = 3FE fuel injected inline 6 with A440F automatic transmission (they begin in 88) - 4 rectangular headlights

FJ60 = 2F carb inline 6 with 4spd Manual transmission (they begin in 81/82 and end in 87 - 2 round headlights

And this truck doesn't have carpet, correct?

As well as the carpet missing the dash is cracked. So I assume that $15,000 was a typo? And you have an FJ60, not an FJ62.

I appreciate the feedback and you are all absolutely correct. I actually know it is a 60; not sure why i labeled a 62- must have been spacing out or drunk. I prefer manual, and kind like older women as well, so I will take that hit. . .

Can't blame a guy for trying. This community is pretty damn tight though and everyone knows values so it's tough to warrant higher prices. Everyone has more into their cruisers than they're usually worth. It's a art of the sickness lol. Why is the roof colour different. Shall assume that's where there was some rust repair done?
