But it is not working?
Grounding is usually the biggest issue from what I've seen. The OEMs tend to limit the number of grounding locations to very specific spots. If you've got any grounding where there is more than one path back to the battery you'll want to change that. Some get all kinds of wound up over this, but I consider that to be a Ground Loop, and those are bad for picking up disruptive noise and just generally causing problems.
