SOLD SOLD SOLD Selling a blue 86 FJ60, here's the link to the Mud blurb from which I bought the truck: https://forum.ih8mud.com/vehicles-trailers-sale-wanted/334103-2-sale-86-94-a.html. The truck has been a great winter commuter for me but I just bought a nice 90 4X4 Toy truck here on Mud (thanks, Curran!) that will replace both the 60 and my 2WD Toy truck. Less insurance with one less vehicle although i'd love to keep 'em all!!!!

Read Andy's description (original blurb) as it is pretty accurate. The steering seems fine to me, and the speedometer has not misbehaved at all for me. Ditto on the fuel gauge but I don't let it get much below 1/2. Gray interior is in excellent shape and the stereo has been mounted cleanly in the dash. It plays quite well and is a high powered Pioneer unit. There is indeed a slight vibration at the 50-55 MPH range but not bad enough for me to have addressed it. I think it's a tire balance problem. It does leak oil, I have added about a quart over the 2000 miles I have driven the truck. I've done nothing more than check fluids and replace wiper blades (Toyota OEM) and don't intend to do anything else!

It has 62-style (unpowered) large mirrors. The tires are Bridgestone (31's) like new and are great in snow. This truck starts right up and can be driven away immediately no need to let it sit and warm up). Transmission shifts like a new truck, transfer case works great. Brakes seem great, too, and the parking brake worrks fine. Wipers work in all positions, heater is great and in fact all accessories work as they should. Lights all work. Looks like the original jack and tool kit is there as is the owners manual. There is rust-through on the rear wheel wells and some rust on the liftgate (not rusted through there, though). I just replaced the tliftgate with a rust free blue liftgate. The smog system is intact and unmolested although the pump makes some noise. Same key fits all locks. All windows roll up and down as they should. All glass is good, windshield unmolested, and the bumpers are pretty decent.

The truck cleans up very nicely, I ran it through the car wash after one of the winter storms. Price is $2400. This is what I paid for the truck. Comes with two keys. I have a clean PA title in my name. I wouldn't think you'd have to worry about driving this truck anywhere- it's been a buy it and drive it experience for me and should be the same for the next owner. Best to email me shmukter@pa.metrocast.net or send a private mud message. If you want to talk on the phone email me with your phone number and I'll call you. Thanks, Gary S

Bump price reduction

Bump for a price reduction from $2500 to $2400. In addition I replaced the rusty liftgate with a rust free blue (slightly different shade than the truck). I will also include a Jim C smog pump eliminator pulley setup (paid $100 for it and it's new) for $2400. This is a very strong running truck. Gary S

How far away are from Philadelphia?

Location

I'm appx two hours from Philly, an hour from Allentown, 40 minutes from Reading, 20 minutes from Hazleton, an hour from Scranton.

Thanks for the kind words! Gary S

I saw this truck in person today while checking out some of Gary's other rigs. If I didn't have a blue 62 I would have bought this truck. It is a sweet truck and the seller is a stand up guy!!

Im the proud owner of this rig. Its my 3rd Toyota, but my first Cruiser. Gary is a good person to deal with, and is very upfront about what he has. I will be registering it this week, and look foreward to using it! Thank you again Gary
