Wanted 80s series in Houston

Hi, I'm new to the Land Cruiser scene looking for my first one. I live in Dickinson, TX and work in Houston, TX. Currently driving a 2005 GTO but I need something more practical.

Looking for a FJ80 Toyota Land Cruiser (or Lexus LX450) in good working order. I want something that is reliable enough to drive everyday, but tough enough for offroad and trails. Will be used for driving to work some days, camping, fishing, kayaking, the works. Lifts/lights/racks/other offroad accessories are a plus. Please let me know what you have. I don't mind traveling to take a look. Thanks.

I'm in the process of selling my 05 GTO to pick up a new toy. Found out that finding one of these land Cruisers is more difficult than I thought it would be.

I'd appreciate any helpful tips from any of y'all long time owners, and look forward to joining in on the forum discussions!

I have a 96 LX450 in really nice shape, have listed it twice on ebay (on it's third run now) without a bid!
I am only starting at $5,000, I know Land Cruisers pretty well and I know it is worth more than that.
I have a post here in the classifieds for it as well.
I am in Texarkana, about 4 hours but have a friend in Houston (actually the dealer friend I am using to buy some cars)
This was has had some light accident damage but looks great
Let me know if you are interested, I am not interested in going below $5,000 though for now, hope to get at least a bid this time
