80 vs 100 Series OEM Roof Rack (1 Viewer)

I checked out a 100 series LC today and am I incorrect in thinking that the OEM 100 series roof rack would be able to hold way more weight than the OEM on the 80 series?

The 100 series roof rack looked beefier and it was attached closer to the corners where I imagine it would be stronger.

I am curious as to whether anyone else had any thoughts on it.

ours is a rail not a tower mount type like the 80. Better design, probably a tad more capacity but still not enough. Main problem with ours is that there are no rails on the roof for paint protection so need a basket.
