Will they work on an 85 4Runner? Cause my temp gauge in GB does not work.... :p

Article 393.1a thinks not, but then again I got them from a guy/collaborative group that may know better.

Great, my day is ruined. Now I have to make a new gauge for Brian's 60 based on my original design for Gnob's 4skinner but adjusted another....ANOTHER 90*.

So just let me know what * you want your precious heat gauge to read and I will make it happen..... BUT just for you.

... I am so confused. There was so much rambling nerd in this post...

What exactly are you doing? Are you putting numbers on a factory gauge or what? I got lost once you mentioned foreskin!

The OEM temp gauge has a huge dead spot, from something like 175* to 220* it doesn't move. The problem with it is that once it starts moving north, it's often too late.

This mod eliminates that dead spot, making the gauge responsive through out the whole range.

Ya a 96 but I like just havingthe stock gauges. Not sure I need all the other features of that gauge. I don't even drive it much anymore. Might become just a "toy" only vehicle this summer. So if the project took some down time that would be ok.

Ill bring them to the wrenching partee
