80-Series Supercharger Install

Good day!

My wife and I are planning on a pretty serious camping trip next summer and will probably be buying a camping trailer or some kind... probably a 'pop up.'

To make towing more bearable, we are strongly considering having a TRD supercharger installed... oour '96 seems to be a good candidate for such an upgrade.

Toyota of Dallas has the S/Cs in stock and their service department has given a price to install. It was about what I was expecting, but I wanted to check with the forum to see if anyone had a better suggestion as to who might install the S/C... a good job at a reasonable price.

You may find someone cheaper, but Randy Witt (old-time LSLC member) will make sure it is done right.

You should talk to him yourself if you are having doubts.

I have a supercharger for my 80 as well that I purchased at T.O.D. a couple of months ago. My plan is to install it myself along with replacing the head gasket if work ever slows down enough. If not, I may be looking for someone to do it for me.
