80 series Shifter Lock issues (1 Viewer)

Good eveing everying one in IH8mud community , I am so happy to connect with this community and very first time to write a post.
I am having issues with my HDJ81 shifter. Couldn't get out from P position after pressing the barke padel. Rear barke are working fine. I looked in to shift lock solenoid and barke paddle switch. I tested with tester on the inlet of Solenoid there's No indication of power come in at the terminal then I have direct power on the inlet . Heard one click on solenoid then stop.
Any advise , Should I look for solenoid unit replacement or also look for barke swith at the Brake paddle.

lookup the wring diagram and test all the switches. Then apply power to the solinoid to see if it can unlock. test for power and ground to the module. If all checks out good take the cover off the shift interlock module. these electronics are getting old enough that they are having issues. mine just failed and something has been leaking all over the board and it's not a capacitor. I though about trying to replace the transistors and overlay the traces but i decided to just order a new module from a 100 series.

atleast you have the unlock button already! I had to swap one in.
