Long story short, I will be copying the scheme of Proffitt's cruisers expo 80 from their site!

Here are the first photos!

It will be getting some rocker panel lining done today:)

Here is the update that I promised! I used plastidip because it has a nice texture. If it does not work out, I can peel it and spray real bedliner(doubt that I will need to). This thing does need sliders tho! I think I will do the sliders, rear bumper, front bumper and winch all at the same time. Currently this 1/10 scale 80 series is running 35" scale tires. Hoping that I can run 44's or close to that.

More shots of the body finished. I left some blue tape on there so the body doesnt get scratched on my painting plaform. Plastidip gives the lexan a nice textured look. I think its starting to look like the cruiser from the link below. Proffitt's cruisers inspired this project!

1994 FZJ80 Diesel Stage 2

I will need to tackle the front bumper and rear bumper next. Not sure how I will achieve the Slee rear look and ARB front. Yes the beadlock rings wont be red for long

The inside of the body was also plastidipped for added protection so to speak. The decals will also be covered with 3m clear bra to make sure they stay on! I will also add a 3m vinyl hood black out to the hood. It is a scale build so why not make it as real as possible? Too far? Not yet! I will also be using real window tint on the inside of the windows, sunroof and windshields ! I'm thinking 20% all the way through! Might add an LED dome panel to light up the interior a bit once all the small details of the interior are worked out:)

I got it online but I forgot what site! I know they are sold out everywhere but occasionally they are on ebay!

I will also be performing the gear reduction! 72t spur gear and 9t pinions in a 2 speed emaxx tranny 95:1 reduction
