I have a 1997 LX450 and am having a problem with the heater. Recently it will not work very often. I have it turned on but it won't turn on (fan turning on) even though I have fan set on high and defrost on. I have tried all combinations of the button settings and it doesn't make any difference. Then when I am driving it will randomly turn on and then off without any seeming rhyme or reason. I do notice that when it is working the center row of buttons (i.e. the row the air circulation button outside/inside) will illuminate but when it doesn't work those button LED's are off. I am looking for a circuit diagram or some guidance on where to start looking to solve this issue. At first I thought it might be the blower but it seems to work perfectly fine once the system decides to start working.
If there is another thread that already covers this please just point me in that direction.
