Curious if anyone has a fuel pump bracket from an 80 around. Mine is a little worse for wear.

I was thinking about dunking it in some evaporust to see how that works. But not sure if the wiring would be an issue. I removed the sender, but this part is NLA from toyota so either have to get this one cleaned up or find a used one.

Thoughts on evaporust and the wiring. If that's an option, I'll do that to start.

Trying out a new drivers seat for the 80.

I was able to mount it to the factory slides. It is a little higher seating position than the factory, fits Erin perfectly, but my head is really close to touching the headliner. Time will tell how it rides.

A local shop got a bunch of surplus OME stuff from a guy that was upfitting 80s for the military back in the day. Picked up a set of NOS springs and shocks.

Springs are OME 850 X/865 X and LTR remote resi shocks.

I have to have the shocks charged with nitrogen before I install. I'm also not sure what lift I'm going to end up with as I can't find any info on the "X" designation for the springs. I'm gonna shove this on the 92 we picked up last summer. We'll see how this goes.

Good score there. The 2850x is the regular front spring from what I remember with 220lb spring rate. They added the x to the end some where along production for some reason. The 2865 is a 1.5” rear spring for a 100 not sure what it will yield on the rear of an 80. Does the place you bought those from have another set of 865’s by chance for my high milage daily?

Thanks for that, I wondered. I also noticed that rhe 865 was not listed for the 80 but the 100, but he just had a big pile of springs. I'll check with him to see what else was in the pile. If I find the proper rears for the 80, I'll send these your way. I'll keep you posted.
