80.. probably totaled

Was on my way to deposit a check this morning, and a girl in a honda ran a stop sign and t-boned me. The front passenger tire is cambered in at least a foot (tie rods and everything ripped out), the fender, and both do ors are caved in, and im sure the frame is bent. Anyone have an estimate of what an insurance company will give me if its totaled? 162k miles. Anyone know of an 80 for sale??? I miss her already.

I have a friend in Greensboro getting ready to sell his 80. I'm not sure of the year or asking price, but it does have the factory lockers. I can PM his number to you if you want to talk to him.

Sucks to hear man. Grab Roberts and keep on rolling at the same mileage in a much improved ride.

cruiserman on here suffered the same sad fate here recently; might PM him to confirm but i think he got 5k and got the truck back.

I know of a lift and a set of axles for sale, but no whole truck.
 
If you had the factory lockers, then prob worth it to "buy it" from the insurance company during the settlement. The factory locking axles are worth nearly 1k I am guessing? Even with a tire folded in, when you look, the damage to the axle could be fixed if worth it (lockers)

Otherwise your biggest item would be the engine/tranny. Hate it for ya, hopefully it will allow you to upgrade a bit!
 
I got $7250.00 from insurance and got to keep the truck. They started out at $5000.00. Just hold out and they will come around eventually.

how many miles?? what did you say to get more than $2000 more???
