80 at the wrench a part

There’s a 97 LX that’s been sitting at the wrench a part since early March. Mostly picked clean by now. Came for the gas tank, turns out it’s worse than my current one. Oil change sticker indicates its probably sat since dec 2015.
Just a heads up for y’all.

Yep. It doesn't have lockers but both axels looked mostly untouched.

Yes, they even have weekly discounts on different parts, so at some point, axles can be had even cheaper than shown here. Last year I bought and NV4500 for $150 from a 3/4 ton chevy… ended up selling it for $500

dang.. Looking for a rear axle to convert my 91 to disc brakes.. might have to take a trip up there..

Anyone know if that 80 is still there? Plan on making a trip to rip out that rear axle and swap it out with my 91.

So just an update… no rear axle because I have it now. I was able to get it.

A lot of the interior pieces taken.

Front axle still there but the weight of the vehicle is on the radius arms. They won’t move it because of how far the vehicle is in the row so a forklift can’t get to it. I think the front sensors were still there but not entirely sure.

Hi Robert. How’s that 80 coming along? Going to try make that Hill Country meet up in May. Missed the last one because of my 02 sensor lol. But she’s been running good since replaced.

Sitting on jackstands collecting pollen. Hopefully get it running once the fuel pump stuff comes in and move on to the myriad of other problems.
