8 speed rough shifting

Well this was disappointing. They plugged it in at the dealership and said my VIN wasn't in range for the update. He mentioned it's possible they already applied the update. Wish I knew if they did. I noticed the shift from 1-2 isn't really that bad. It's braking where I notice how unsmooth it is. Downshifting as I come to a stop causes me to lurch forward in my seat between gears.

If its ddoing this hard shift when mostly off tge gas…then gently speeding up (happens a lot on slow freeway tracfic)…where it popped out of 1st as you are sorta coasting along then apply akinny oedal…

…If its like that(?), my 2008 6 speed has done this forever. Of course I’m on a completely different set…

Mostly just curious if the phenomenon for yall happens in a similar moment/scenario.

Quick question; anyone ever experience rough shifting in higher gears? I have a 2016 (unknow if if was reflashed) and when merging on the highway with the pedal fully depressed it shifts pretty rough. I also have experienced it at the lower gears when around town.

I am guessing I need to have them re-flash... but how do I ask them to do this?

Yes. Firm shifts when floored on both the 6 and 8 speed 200s I have.
