1979 Honda CT90 also known as the Trail90. I purchased this bike two years ago with hopes of using it for my short commute to work and in state/national parks. It was in good running condition but I wanted something that would be reliable for back-country travel in the parks so I started a "light" rebuild of the bike. Needless to say, I spent almost as much as I paid for the bike and because of my schedule it took me nearly a year to complete my rebuild. I did the majority of the work myself (these are simple machines) but had a professional rebuild the carburetor, front forks and adjust the valves. The bike has two new tires, inner-tubes, chain, new front fork seals and boots, rear heavy duty shocks, carb rebuild, fuel lines all the way from the tank to the carb, speedometer gasket, front brakes, rear brakes, bulbs, turn signal lens, brake light lens and tons of springs and other hardware. I'm probably forgetting a lot of items but I have a stack of receipts for the majority of items. I also replaced some of the cracked plastic covers. In the photos the battery cover is missing but I have it and it will be on the bike when sold. The battery is three years old and works well but will probably need to be replaced in the near future.
The only items I'd replace if I were to keep it is the flasher unit for the turn signals and maybe the rectifier. Both are easily available and inexpensive. They currently function well but I'm fairly picky about stuff and that's what I'd do it I were going to keep it long term. I don't ride it much and my family wants a small fishing boat so that's why I'm selling this vintage machine. Speedo says 8K miles but I don't know if it's the original. If so, the bike runs fantastic and has great compression. Usually starts right up on the first kick. Shifts well and rides fantastic. Four speeds in the "Hi" gears and four in the "low" gear range. These bikes were very popular with hunters and back-country explores because of the low gear range. Parts for these bikes are easily available and inexpensive. They're still manufactured in several countries and the Australians use them still for mail delivery in the Outback; hence the name "postie bikes".

Best of all, 100 m.p.g., at least when they were brand new.

I have a clear title in hand and ready to transfer. Please, no low ball offers. I'm FIRM on this price. These bikes are selling for $1000-$1300 on eBay and many aren't this well maintained. If I can't get at least this for it I'll keep it for occasional use.

$875. Located in North San Antonio, TX.

Thanks. Yeah, I kind of hope it doesn't sell just so I can ride it from time to time but I need boat money.
