-A huge thanks to Dave Willamson, owner of Dave's Offroad Supply for his support throughout this build including parts from:
Advance Adapters, East Coast Gear Supply, PSC, PRP, RCV, Ruff Stuff Specialties, and Trail-Gear.
-I'm a royally impatient SOB and Dave does not d*ck around; he's awesome about getting back to me quickly with prices and technical info. He's a man of his word and if he says he's going to do something, he does it.
-He's proactive about contacting vendors and sends me tracking numbers right away. I'm extremely lucky to have his support. This wouldn't have been possible without you, Dave. Thanks, brother.

I’m building the ‘45 in tribute to my little brother, Jared who passed away 2 years ago June. Even though we weren’t blood, I love and miss him him the same.

I am guessing it's his brother that died and he is building his 45 as a tribute.

Man, I dropped the ball on this thread big time. I kept the build up on PBB up to the point where I wheeled the finished truck in Harlan Kentucky then grenaded the output shaft in the doubler on Day 2: FJ45Runner (powered by Dave's Off-Road Supply) - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum
Fast foward, I replaced the Toyota trans and doubler with a TH400, ORD Magnum and 205. I plan on updating the PBB thread in a week or so and will throw some pictures up here too.

Back story on the picture above is that I removed the tin-canned 4Runner body (that's me @ Rausch in '14 - 4Runner's last ride) and used the SAS'd 4Runner frame as the foundation for the '45 build. I have some phots of Jared in the Pirate thread if anyone wants to check them out.
