79 Fj40 350...$5500

The FJ40 is a 79 so it is the same age as my wife! It is very solid and
has a Chevy 350 from a 1984 K5 Blazer...original tranny and transfer case
were rebuilt four years ago and have about 8000 miles on them. It has new:
shocks, new wheels, new BFG AT tires (all five match), new 3"
flowmaster exhaust (50 series), new Herculiner interior, seats are from a Honda
and the driver side has a tear, she leaks and burns some oil...typical Chevy
engine, runs great...I love the 40 but am driving tons of miles for work and it
is killing me on mpg (it gets 15mpg) ummm...new MAF front bumper, mag light mount, no speakers, good new JVC stereo, new KC hilights,

OBO...needs ta go...

Yes, messy and not pretty engine swap...been meaning to clean it all up...my being lazy is your gain...

The floor on the drivers side had rust and was cut out and replaced...

No rust issues...

Under the diamond plate you will find one quarter size hole ground out and coated with zero rust...

All in all a good dealfor $5500 and not perfect...but a good solid truck.

It does have a carb and you boys that grew up on Fuel injection = need to learn not to flood her!

I have two of the chrome pieces and I have the rear marker lights someplace...

She has never overheated but I would swap in a MAF radiator (aluminum) been meaning to do that...she runs at about 210F on a hot day
