rust repairs are done! started on prep'ing the fenders and bonnet for primer with body filler to smooth out my bodgy rust repairs.
 
updates have been a bit lacking as ive had issuse connecting to mud on my home wifi but im still going.

- all fluids done, only one leak out of the sump plug still!..

- had the turbo off cos i had a significant oil leak but discovered it was a loose fitting on the oil feed line.
- wipers wired in
- starting issues were due to a stuck starter relay.

- outside of all remaining panels and doors are back to bare steel.

- got yet another +ve terminal block offering better bonnet clearance

- fuel feed plumbed into the tank

just got a few misc things to wire in before i wrap the harness. confirmed tacho works





once the wiring is buttoned up i should be able to drive it

Man! You are crushing! You inspire me to get off my ass and get after it!
not really. sh!ts slowed down since going back to work. its cold again and motivation to go into the shed is low.. i need to blocksand these panels so i can get some color down when the weather warms up..

the eldest had a birthday this weekend and we had a new burden turn up on friday..

so more interruptions.. but i did tidy up the last of the wiring in the engine bay.... and doing more road tests to get confidence in the build..
 
Horses, now that's a serious money pit.
not my idea.. miss 8 rides for therapy and we're lucky enough to have a support worker for her that grew up around horses. this one apparently is calm and well composed, great for us noobs and being around kids.
 
I can see it now - "But honey I need the bigger turbo to pull the horse float"
The wife is pushing me to get it on the road so we can collect the horse float at the previous owners in the north of the state.. sometime mid september
