Hoses and pump installed ( note the denim belt that meatball and Mike picked up )

The only part of the install that Meatball and I overlooked - the relay rod. I thought we'd be able to piece something together with the 60 gear, but we were not successful. This is our temporary solution. The permanent solution will be a custom relay rod that IPOR makes.

Nice power steering - attention whore :flipoff2:

Who was feeling up your man-boobs?

 R

Where did you get the hoses made? Also, what's up with the shackle angle? Looks like even slightly compressed they are >90*??? What kind of springs are those?

 R

Seriously guys, this steering setup is slick as hell. Made with 100% Toyota parts.

Meatball got the HP hose from JTO, got the LP hose from auto zone

The springs suck this has been discussed a million times. :flipoff2:

I'm working on getting new springs if someone for Iron Pig would call me back, Hint Hint. I also need a steering rod from them too.

hey johnny I have a pwr steering leak. i will call you this weekend.

Where is the power steering leak coming from?

Well the pressure line on the gear box is sticking out a bit but it wont tighten down anymore.

On the back of the pump theres that little plastic plug it looks like it may be comming from there. Not exactly sure. I will take some pics

Is it leaking from the pump and the box?

Take brake parts cleaner or the likes and clean it all off and then go from there and get some pics up.

Leaking at plastic tab. I guess just take it out and put a bolt in there?

Leaking from the gear box at the low pressure side. Tighten clam will see how that works.

Once i fix the leaks i will switch to atf. Or should i stick with the pwr steering fluid?

The absolute best is mobil hydraulic fluid....... but really just throw some atf in there or PS fluid if you have some already.
