What's going on with the turn buckle holding the tire carrier? And the "smoothed over" rear sill tie-in to the rear quarter panels?

That rear end definitely looks a little sketchy. Also the wiring next to the steering wheel deserves a closer look. And has the ‘79 plus
For my education, please explain your concerns about the rear end.

Radiator looks painted by brush which wouldn't concern me much but it is dented on the DS bracket.

Here's my take....
Questionable paint/body work. Back right quarter reflector area leading over to the rear sill looks to be bondo with bad body work.
Underside of hood looks meh. Probably other areas that the camera isn't picking up. No rear seating area pics?
Wiring loom to the right of the accelerator going through the Transmission hump. What's going on there?
Ghetto welding seat bracket.
Rear log splitter on the center of rear bumper?
Spare tire carrier held down with turnbuckle?
Shocks and bushings appear to be original with black spray paint. Tie-rods same.
Springs have numbers so appear to be replaced at some time.
Front vent windows ...Very Cool

Hi
This is my car. I’d like to address some of the concerns here.
The “wiring loom” is the cowl drain.
The spare tire carrier is held down with the turnbuckle because a prior owner has lowered it. The turnbuckle is temporary leaving the next owner to decide what to do. The car comes with a new factory style latching mechanism.
To address the body work it was done before my ownership and its quality is reflected in the price.

Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
