Land Speeder, no disreppect just trying to defend myself against your comments.

Hey, you lied twice in just this thread. please don't say your defending yourself from me... your defending yourself from your previous posts and then saying otherwise in this thread.... You at least have to see that right?

I would love to see this truck go to someone here. LOVE to see that. I have GROSSLY undersold trucks to people I knew would love them alot more than a dealer would. The biggest thing that set me off was the fact that you were letting a dealer have it for $2K less than you were letting this board have it. See what I'm saying? That dealer wants to make money off it, we want to make memories off it. I include you in the memories part as well...

Is this truck still for sale? It looks like a great deal!

SOLD

See ya'll at SEMA

I hope to see you at local trail rides, Bo.

in what? a 325i? he's selling his last cruiser.

I can picture it... a few months from now... somebody's gonna pop up on this club forum saying they just purchased a FJ40 from a small car lot and paid 10K for it even though it needs a resto... then we'll have to show them the original owner offering it for $3K OBO eleven months ago... that's gonna suck.

Rumor has it, that a guy some of us know in Auburn has bought this 40... LOL. He's a yota guy and has had runners even daily's a 100... If this is true, then i sure hope he got this for a decent deal... To the best of my knowledge he's not on this forum... wish he was.

Who dat?

name's Scott. Brett knows him, Ben Garcia knows him as well... lived in the tiny houses for years... i think he still owns one but is trying to sell it. Nice guy.

FJ40

Guys, I'm the person who bought the cruiser. I found the vehicle here on mud and read everything on here before contacting Bo about it. Mud certainly does provide a lot of information and history. In the end, I made a well informed decision and got it for what I feel was a good price.

Don't be thrown off by nick, "good advice," I'm in need of it, not offering it...

Garcia is a good friend. Eric, I met you once a while back. It was at Ben's house right after he finished up replacing his bhg.

As for the 40, I'll post the details and photos in a separate thread.

I know not much about 40's but would love to help you wrench whenever.

Thanks, might need the help at some point. One thing I like about the rig is that it is simple. Everything (good and bad) is right there staring at you.
