Hey fellas,

just checked out this 40 i saw on kijiji...was sorta lookin for one for a buddy and just wanted to check it out and see how it is and meet a cruiserhead (and he was really close bye). it just so happens that the rig's in etobicoke, TO. anywho, it is what it is, a big project vehicle or a parts rig. the gentleman was very honest and we had a pleasant chat about tlc's. the rig is out of my abilities and i don't have the space (was tempted for a prts vehicle since the roof and all glass are in great shape, hood too, and he's got a full interior and stuff that'll come in handy..!) so, i took pics anyways and offered to post them here for more local exposure...he's a fellow mudder too!

so yeah, needs a new tub and the frame needs attention... hope someone can rescue this rig....and i at least hope you enjoyed looking at this canadian 40!

romey

so yeah, not my ad, contact Allen on the kijiji ad.

I'm not sure if I'm out of touch with the price of cruisers, but that seems like a lot for a parts rig. I paid $300.00 for my 77 FJ40 that was about the same body wise, with almost new 31" tires and running motor. My 88 62 cost me $1000.00 and needed a fuel pump, cats and alittle 1/4 panel work to pass safety and E-test. The last 88 62 that Brad and I went half's on (which is his current project truck ) cost $400.00. It had 3 new MTR's, was spring over with rear disc and was running. Not sure if I'm just cheap or out of touch. What do you guys think?

About the Land Mark

I would have to agree with the guys.

This truck has seen it's day.

I sold 2 for that price last year ,that were in better shape.

I really think that it would be a very expensive project, even to

get it home.

Just my cents.

Dave

Mark Watley and i concur on one thing, some Cruisers are better left to rot. this is one of them.

also, this is what i was expecting to find when i moved back here, not 40s like Daves. that was a wicked score Dave.
