I already posted this in the 40 tech, but thought it might belong here instead.
I recently sent my 76 fj40 to Redline to have some work done. I contacted Justin at Redline about a family cage and tube doors and asked if he did any custom work and thankfully he said yes. In the end I saved thousands of dollars over quotes from Proffitts and others and am very impressed with the quality of the work.
Work includes:
-SOA with fj55 rear leafs both front and rear
-saginaw power steering, over steer, large pattern knuckles, cut and turn, front axle rebuild, marlin seals, HD arms, HD pittman arm and fj80 tre's
-ford shock towers front
-anti wrap bar
-family cage and tube doors
-custom cv driveshafts
-bilstein 5100's
I flew up a few days before we agreed to have it finished to check out the shop and what he does. Justin goes above and beyond in customer service. He showed me how he goes through each spring pack and set the suspension up for MY RIG, taking measurements and calculating everything as he cycled the suspension on the lift. I am very please to know that he builds his stuff for optimum performance, not only aesthetics.
On to the pics.
