Gentlemen,

I am pretty sure I know the answer, but by any chance will the rear axle hub off the 80 Series FF rear axle Hub work with the 92-99 75 Series rear FF axle?

I may have to replace one of my rear hubs. I can pick up one from an 80 on the cheap, but am pretty sure it's not compatible. I just want to bounce it off the Gurus before I start having to hunt one down in CDN or AUS.

If the CDN vendors, who would have the biggest pile of used parts?

1993-1997 FF hub will work Alex, IIRC. They are technically the same rear axle with the same part numbers for the seals, bearings, gaskets. They both have 8mm studs as well. Only thing I would be concerned about is whether you have rear disc or drum. Not sure about compatibility if you have rear drums.

I have discs on the rear;). The FF rear axles look like they use a lot of the same core components in the hubs and bearings, just different backing plates, caliper brackets, rotors and such.

They look the same, I hope it works.

Thanks and congrats on the new job:cheers:

Good to know ,
It always looked like the 75 series rear hub stuck further out the rim than the 80 series.
