This rig is really solid. It has very, very minimal rust. One spot on the top of the left rear wheel well, the rear sill area, and there is some fiberglass repair under the fuel tank. I don't even see any surface rust/pitting anywhere else. I couldn't believe how clean it was inside of the rear wheel wells and on the inside of the rocker panels where these things are always rusted out. The frame is as good as you will find on a 34 year old vehicle anywhere, IMOP. Looks like a rattle can White paint job over the original Baby Blue color.

I bought it for a project vehicle about 6 months ago, but a recent storm damaged my home, and I need to sell it.

It is an original soft top model, and never had a hard top. Three speed transmission with original floor shift. I think this would make someone a perfect rockcrawler project.

It appears that someone might have recently rebuilt the engine, or at least did a valve job. Under the valve cover, looking through the oil filler cap, is fresh paint. I'm sure it needs the carb rebuilt, but when it runs and idles, it is as smooth sounding as a sewing machine. It has leaking wheel cylinders and I can't remember which ones. If I bleed the brakes, it will be fine to drive around a bit and load up on a trailer. Other than the wheel cylinders, there don't appear to be any fluid leaks at all. Drivetrain appears to be in good condition.

It has electrical issues, so I would plan on replacing the wiring harness. The hood looks brand new, but it looks like the front windshield fell on it and wrinkled it a bit. It has a little bit of bondo on the front fenders. I would consider the front bib, bezel, aprons and hood to be totally rust free.

Someone recently replaced the leaf springs and shocks. I think the springs may be OME, but I am not sure.

The wheels and tires that are on it in these pics don't go with it. They are off of my truck project. I have the 5 original stock wheels that go with this rig at my shop, and I will buy 4 used tires that hold air to help get it to you.

It is located in Kerrville, Texas. I could deliver it to Austin or the Dallas/Ft Worth area in a couple of weeks with a little help on gas money. I have a clear Texas title to it in my name. I need $2500.00 for it. Thank you for looking.
