I'm no expert, but have been on the forum for a few years so here's a few things until more experienced members step up...

If the paint, motor, and brakes were done right, the price seems low to me...

It has a decent look from a distance (if you can stomach the wheels) but closer inspection in person could tell you a lot...from the look of the drivers seat, someone logged some hours with their arse in that seat--I would be checking the undercarriage and under the hood for clues about how the rig was treated prior to the new paint.

Also, why selling? May be a decent cruiser, just have to dig on a handful of issues not covered in the ad.

If the owner is on Mud, I'm prepared to be schooled...

Good luck either way!

Im by far no expert at all (that why I wanted to get others opinions)!

It seems like a great deal considering all that's been done and is just down the street.

So funny on the wheels. You're not the first person to mention them. I don't think they are that bad but wouldn't mind getting something different.

The thing that stuck out first to me were that the gauges/cluster were newer. I sort of like the original look but I'm sure there are good reasons to update.

I may call them up and check it out. If I do, I'll put up some photos.

I look forward to hearing more!

Ill chime in. Just make sure you take a good look at the under side and ask about body work. Sometimes fresh paint is used to cover up things that were not fixed properly. Not saying that's the case here but it's better to find it now. I'm not a fan of those wheels either but to each his own. I prefer the stock steel wheels and tall skinny tires. The brake update is a good thing unless its been hacked together. Appears to be in a nice area judging by background stuff so maybe it's someone that's wealthy and had good quality work done to it. Good luck!

I'm going to try and swing by there sometime soon. If I do I'll take photos of the underside and get the story behind the rig.
