I've got an awesome 1972 FJ40 for sale that runs, drives, stops, handles well. I've lost the time I was going to put into making it a perfect cruiser so, sadly it must go.
It's got a pretty good hard top/doors, tub is excellent, only minor surface rust on the inside cab floor. Has a Chevy 350 V-8, just put in new battery, plugs, and a few more minor things.
It's got a weird electrical thing where the battery drains, probably a bad circuit- no big deal to figure out. Left rear tire has a very slow leak, but can be plugged easily. Wiper connection is loose so they don't work most of the time- again, no big deal to fix. VERY Minor surface rust inside, none in the rear. Quarters are solid but need one small patch on the right side exterior. Right front turn signal missing.
Other than that, everything is solid, pretty good to look at, a perfect summer car or fixer-upper, and a serious steal at $4500.
