I am in nashville, tn. I have 71 FJ that I am thinking about getting rid of. It was my first vehicle and I have had it nearly 15 years. I am going back to school for engineering and don't have the time or money or place to work on it. As it is I am paying for a storage unit to house it. The plan was to make a hybrid of a old 40 frame and body with the drivetrain of a 94 80 series. 4 link suspension. Well the transmission is too long. Should have done some homework first. I had thought about making a bellhousing adapter to fit the 1fz to a old 4 spd M/T so I could keep the pto winch. Project stalled out from lack of work place and insufficient funds to see the project through. Lost my job.

The tub is not terrible. It has been in dry storage for 20 years at least. I started to media blast it but my compressor wouldn't keep up. Overall I would say it aint terrible compared to some stuff i've seen. Will need work. Probably new rear sil. The rest could be patched.

The frame is missing the front bumper, shock towers, motor mounts, rear gussets and rear bumper/crossmember. PO had welded a crazy rear hitch and I tried to grind the welds off but it was too far gone.

I do not have any doors for it. The fiberglass top is good but the metal mount plate attached needs replaced. The area that the top of the doors seals against is in good shape and still attached. The rear lift gate and frame/hinges, half doors, and sides are in great shape. All the glass is out of the vehicle. The windshield frame is rust free with wiper assembly still attached.

I have the original steering wheel and dash components. Stock gas tank. I also have the stock pto winch and side gear but not the driveshaft since it was removed by the PO for the old 283 canister oil filter.

The 80 series axles were the locker kind. The front diff was replaced at some point and doesn't have the e locker. the rear does. I have most of the brackets cut off the axles. I have all the grey seats from the 94 LC. I also have the steering box and master cylinder. I have the ebrake handle, cables from the 94. Driveshafts. The stock radiator and a brand new unit. The #6 cylinder had a stuck exhaust valve and blow head gasket. I ALSO HAVE EVERY NUT AND BOLT FROM THE 94 BODY AND FRAME.

I am sure I am missing something. Feel free to email me @ misaaccooper at yahho or call at 770 375 nine three nine one. I am taking offers. I realize it is a total project that will take a lot to make happen. I could potentially deliver up to say 75 miles.
