Thank you @rick_d and @bottombracket for the info. My original mirror was beige and looks like the above is grey. The issue is the mirror does not come with the bolt cover and the one I have is beige

Your 31 year old mirror was gray from the factory and now aged as shiat.
87834-20080-B6 is the cover.
87828-10010 is the rubber bumper.

Do your self a favor and order a mirror made in the last decade.

I feel like there are a handful of interior parts that are “greyiege”- an indeterminate grey/beige color that works on both interior colors. Mirrors, headliner, visors, and some grab handles.

It was actually beige/tan from the factory, which matches the headliner, but I agree with you on ordering the latest part that fits. Found one on eBay and placed an order. It may not match the headliner, but I will have to live with that and have a functioning mirror.

And those mirrors fall off mine trucks at ens when they cut the tops off. Can be had for beer money if you find someone to make the journey to Saskatoon.

Oh yes... also goes for steering wheels! I have many people return beige steering wheels saying they are gray! :-(
