Does she really want a 3/4 ton extended cab 4wd cummins as a kid hauler/grocery getter? Seems a bit excessive and mainly expensive for that kind of use.
Something to be said for chicks in big trucks though :grinpimp:.

She actually prefers her Tercel and would love for me to sink a couple grand into it. I hate the thing - mainly because I spend more time messing with it then with my Safari. It also isn't practicle for us because when i am away she is stuck with it's limited carrying capacity. Kind of hard to fit her, the kids and the dog into it. There are lots of mini-vans around. But I wanted to get away from gas and I don't like the tranny problems they seem to have. Our Mercury Villager was a nice little van but plaqued by the Nissan exhaust manifold problem and a motor which has zero accessibility to the firewall side. You almost have to pull the damn engine to change the rear plugs. :mad: A Dodge Cummins, while not a people hauler, seems to fit the multipurpose bill. I first began looking at the Mecedes diesel wagons. I expect to pay around $5000 for a decent one - if i can find one. Seems to me another $3000 and I could get us into a decent Dodge Cummins.

BTW Jeff you got way too much time on your hands if you have time to pull up LC trivia like that. Go get that 40 or your 45 in trail shape! :hillbilly:
 
dodge autos suck too, my buddy had to have his rebiult with stronger parts?, anther person I know said the auto was screwed up since new in 94, and just got a rebuild with the touhger parts too........... I do not know anything about autos

mind you Deny has problems with his 6 speed, just dont makem like they used to

Hey Dan have you done anything with the KDP
